THE HORNET

THE HORNET is one of the blends most associated with Black Works Studio's creative style. The series was developed from the Killer Bee idea, but over the years has become an independent blend with its own identity, combining several wrappers in the same cigar to create a complex and unique smoking experience. The blend combines a Candela wrapper with other dark wrappers, creating an extraordinary combination of herbal sweetness, pepper, cream, earth, coffee and wood. The result is a cigar with a dynamic profile that changes throughout the smoke and presents many layers of flavor that are not common in traditional cigars. Similar to other series of the brand, here too the emphasis is on creativity, complexity and unique character, using unconventional construction techniques and wrapper combinations that have become the hallmark of Black Works Studio. Killer Bee Connecticut - KILLER BEE CONNECTICUT

Killer Bee Connecticut is a lighter and creamier interpretation of the Killer Bee series, while maintaining the series' unique and recognizable style with wrapper combinations, a closed foot and dark wrapper stripes around the cigar head and foot. The blend is based on an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper with combinations of Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper, Nicaraguan habanero binder and Nicaraguan filler. The profile combines creaminess, white pepper, roasted coffee, cedar, nuts and subtle notes of citrus and natural sweetness, alongside a depth and strength that are surprising compared to a classic Connecticut cigar. NBK, short for Natural Born Killer, is one of the brand’s first and most influential blends, and was part of the original Black Works Studio launch in 2015. Based on an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and a Nicaraguan filler, the cigar showcases the dark, rich, and bold style that has become the brand’s signature. The profile combines cocoa, dark chocolate, roasted coffee, molasses, earth, leather, and wood, along with natural sweetness and spice that emerges throughout the smoke. Despite its power and richness, the cigar maintains balance and complexity with a gradual transition between the different layers of flavor.
