A hobby and love for the flavors and aromas of cigars turned from a dream of two people into a reality in 2022. After a lot of work, thought, tastings and a lot of investment of resources and heart, two partners founded "Guri cigars" - an Israeli business for the production and import of cigars.
The idea that had been brewing for a long time needed practice, which Shiran Malka entered into, and together the two turned the dream into a reality.
The business quickly took shape and began importing carefully selected brands, including Top brands such as Aganorsa Leaf, Caldwell, Rojas and more, as well as smaller brands that were carefully selected.
At the beginning of 2025, the two founded another company - in Esteli, Nicaragua. The company took under its auspices five small factories where the company's series and previous brands that were produced in factories are produced. All brands are manufactured for the company and marketed by it exclusively worldwide.
Today, "Guri Cigars" is a thriving Israeli business that is very dominant in the local market. It manufactures and imports cigars from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and Honduras.
The company manufactures, imports and distributes cigars and cigar accessories for individuals and stores. In addition to these, the company provides cigar bar services for events with guidance and a stand or self-service, pirate cigar events, collaborations at fairs, festivals and other venues.
Along with the establishment of the company in Nicaragua, the company launched in Israel in early 2025 the EDOM alcohol brand, which bears the name of one of the cigar series. The name comes from the Edom Mountains, where the business grew and developed in its early days.
About the private label cigars:
The cigars from the private series are manufactured in the company's factories in Nicaragua and are distributed worldwide. Series G - the first to be released into the world when the business was founded - is produced in the Dominican Republic and is dedicated to and marketed exclusively to the Israeli market. All cigars are handmade, made from quality tobacco from the finest regions of Nicaragua. The tobacco undergoes long fermentation processes and double aging.
The production processes are subject to strict quality control even in the smallest factories.
